I keep ruminating on my loneliness -wishing I could abandon it

Like an unfit mother placing newborn on a doorstep

It never seems to leave me be

Sometimes it goes on holidays

But when loneliness leaves me alone

I beg for it to come back; feeling lost without its presence

What cruel fate life has subjected me to…
