[’14 poetry]

In possession of a certain naive’te I adore
They just want to love & be loved so pure
Untouched by the ways of the world, before they are made to fit in a mould
The way they giggle, how they ask a million & one questions touches the very depths of my soul
A popular adage states, if you want to know the truth ask a child
You’ll be sure to know, never beguiled
I hope to have my own family
With little ones all around, but we’ll see.
